An emergency call to revive two La Crosse men from drug overdoses led to several criminal charges, including drug trafficking.
La Crosse police responded Sunday to a medical call at a house on Ferry Street, where the two young men were unconscious. They had to be revived with the antidote Narcan.
After they were taken to a hospital for treatment, the house was searched. Police found many drugs including heroin, cocaine and marijuana. They also discovered a 45-caliber handgun and a safe containing $15,000 in cash.
One of the two men revived, 19-year-old Simon Kleinertz, faces eight drug-related crimes in La Crosse County court.
