Former Cashton teacher goes on trial for sexual assaulting student, child enticement

Veteran teacher and coach in Cashton schools is tried this week on sexual assault charge

A trial is scheduled to begin Tuesday for a former teacher and coach at Cashton High School, who’s charged with sexually assaulting a student and child enticement.

Jeremy Mosley of La Crosse taught in the Cashton school system for 21 years, until the fall of 2021.

Investigators say the 52-year-old assaulted a student, while supposedly giving them a physical examination.

Mosley’s jury trial in Monroe County court is expected to last up to three days.

A native of Prairie du Chien, Brad graduated from UW - La Crosse and has worked in radio news for more than 30 years, mostly in the La Crosse area. He regularly covers local courts and city and county government. Brad produces the features "Yesterday in La Crosse" and "What's Buried on Brad's Desk." He also writes the website "Triviazoids," which finds odd connections between events that happen on a certain date, and he writes and performs with the local comedy group Heart of La Crosse. Brad been featured on several national TV programs because of his memory skills.
