Chase hitting over 100 mph of stolen 2014 Fiat gets away from Eau Claire, Trempealeau sheriff’s deputies
Pursuit of a stolen, blue 2014 Fiat that reportedly reached over 100 miles per hour, got away from both the Trempealeau and Eau Claire sheriff’s departments Thursday morning.
The suspect is described as a white man in his 30s with short hair, who may also be partially bald. Anyone with info should call Trempealeau’s sheriff’s office at 715-538-4351.
The chase began when Eau Claire requested help around 11 a.m. from Trempealeau to catch the suspect, beginning on County Road R near Townline Road in Trempealeau County.
Law enforcement, however, stopped the pursuit near Augusta. An unknown time later, however, deputies found the vehicle on Highway 10, near Alvestad Road, and the chase was on again.
That’s when the sheriff’s office stated they hit speeds over 100 on Highway 10, and spikes were deployed.
Those, however, were unsuccessful, and they stopped pursuit once again, east of Eleva.
A passenger in the Fiat was described as a white woman with blonde hair and a white puffy jacket.
