As I See It

No matter the reason, an impressive turnout for a spring election

It isn’t entirely clear why, but we just witnessed something historic in Tuesday’s election in Wisconsin. A historic number of people voted in a spring election. Spring elections, particularly when there is not a race for governor on the ballot, tend to draw a relatively small number of voters. Sometimes as low as 15-20% of eligible voters. But in this election, Wisconsin voters turned out in droves, setting a record for turnout. In La Crosse County, more than half of eligible voters cast a ballot. There are many reasons for the high level of voter participation. It was hard to ignore the election, as we were beaten over the head with all those gag-worthy ads for the Supreme Court race. This was the most expensive judicial race in the nation’s history. Money poured in from out of state, much of it for Judge Protasiewicz. She had made the issues of the race clear, abortion chief among them, and her message worked. She got 82% of the vote in Dane County, where liberals were motivated to vote and make their feelings known about abortion rights. But another factor in the high turnout is the record number of young people who cast a ballot, perhaps participating in our democracy for the first time. With so much apathy these days, it is good to see so many young people making their voices heard, and seeing that their voice can make a difference.

How about the election of a DNC backed candidate to the Wisconsin Supreme Court who Stated she is for Women’s rights, and will most definitely back abortions in the State, and will help strike down the 1848 abortion law.

The reason is very clear. Women wanted the right to end their child’s life at any time including while in labor.
A left leaning group went as far as spending $2,000,000 attacking Kelly’s opponent in the primary. Never really reported. How many crossed over the primary to vote for Kelly since they figured he would be much easier to beat.
The Democrats in the last general election spent over $50,000,000 promoting Republican extremists. Why?
The Democrats have nothing to run on. Biden has been an absolute disaster who insults most people’s intelligence on a daily basis.
The media protects him at all cost

Hey Robert, I just conducted an informal survey of older Gen Z’s and younger Millennials’ and results indicated that 25% of them still believe there are monsters living under their bed.
