A wide-ranging Friday of La Crosse Talk PM with political science professor, Dr. Anthony Chergosky. The UW-La Crosse professor joins to discuss Five Guys in Onalaska opening and how restaurants could really benefit customers. We also hit on the Brewers needing more bank on beer sales, public funding Am-Fam Field, plus teaching politics and US Sen. Tammy Baldwin’s reelection begins.

Began the show talking a bit about Baldwin announcing her reelection bid, and the differences in strategy between Baldwin and her counterpart, Sen. Ron Johnson.
Then we got into an interesting discussion about teaching politics, as Chergosky is at a political science convention in Chicago.
Began to wrap up the show talking about Five Guys opening, their strategy of throwing the fries in the bag. That led to a discussion about what’s best: chips and salsa, free bread sticks or a pile of fries? And how more restaurants should be doing one of the three.
And we ended with the Brewers, Twins and other teams extending beer sales because “the game isn’t long enough.” Yes, sure, that’s the reason. Also discussed how politicians are flip-flopping on the idea of public funds to help the Brewers renovate American Family Field.
