Truck rollover near Trempealeau leads to fire, possible drunk-driving charge

Two people were injured in a weekend rollover accident on Highway 35 in the Town of Trempealeau, which may have resulted from drunk driving.

A Ford truck went out of control, overturned in a ditch and caught fire shortly after 8 p.m. Friday.

The male driver and a passenger were ejected from the truck during the crash.

The driver was taken to an area hospital for treatment and is being cited for Operating While Intoxicated (OWI).
