UW-L’s Wilken on Earth’s 2nd moon, NASA coming out on UFOs, living on Mars
UW-La Crosse outreach specialist, Spencer Wilken, in the WIZM studio Thursday for La Crosse Talk PM discussing both getting to, and living on Mars, NASA going public on UFOs — but not calling them that — and, apparently, we just discovered that Earth has a second moon.
La Crosse Talk PM airs weekdays at 5:06 p.m. Listen on the WIZM app, online here, or on 92.3 FM / 1410 AM / 106.7 FM (north of Onalaska). Find all the podcasts here or subscribe to La Crosse Talk PM wherever you get your podcasts.
In the midst of the living on Mars conversation, we also brought it back to Earth, and discussed how living in Arizona could be just as difficult and how the Biden Administration messed up a study on the Colorado River, which supplies water to the West.
We also spent a few minutes talking about how seeing the Northern Lights will be more common and, if you made it to the end, we also discovered — and renamed — another dinosaur.
We also talked about some of the science-type camps coming up, including an International Youth Media Summit, where three 18-24-year-olds from La Crosse are eligible for scholarships. For more info on that, contact Wilken (Hulsey) here.
