Part of Losey Boulevard will be used for detours soon, while repairs are being made on South Avenue in La Crosse.

Railroad work and the installation of a new water main south of Green Bay Street will make the detours necessary for about a week, according to public works officials at La Crosse City Hall. The detours are expected to go into effect on June 22nd, but they could be delayed until early July, depending on the weather.

Stop sign at 19th and Denton near Longfellow.

At least three intersections in downtown La Crosse will get stop signs on every corner, as a result of the reconstruction project on 2nd Street.

The board of public works has approved all-way stops at the Market Street intersections on Front and 2nd Streets, and at the intersection of 2nd and King. The new stop signs will be permanent, even after the street construction is finished.
