Wisconsin Republicans hitch to Trump wagon at convention in La Crosse
Despite the many reasons not to, Wisconsin Republicans continue to hitch their wagon to former President Donald Trump in his bid to regain the White House. The Wisconsin Republican Party held its convention in La Crosse over the weekend, mapping out their strategy for winning upcoming elections. As part of the convention, Republicans were polled about who they support for the party’s nomination for President in 2024. The answer, overwhelmingly, is that they continue to support the only U.S. President to be impeached twice, the only U.S. President to be indicted on 37 felony charges and is still the probe of numerous criminal and civil investigations. 53% of conventioneers supported Trump, and it wasn’t even close. Florida Governor Ron DeSantis finished a distant second, with just 34% of the vote. The rest of the field may as well fold their tents in Wisconsin now. Right Nikki Haley? And Chris Christie. And Mike Pence, who got fewer votes in the La Crosse poll than someone named Glenn Youngkin. So, for Wisconsin Republicans, it’s Trump or no one, despite polling showing DeSantis would have a better chance of beating Joe Biden in Wisconsin and across the country. Somehow that doesn’t seem like a good strategy for winning the next election.

All the and terrible things this president and his administration have and are doing that’s destroying our Country, along with dividing us all like you both are doing.
