La Crosse city council member Barb Janssen joined La Crosse Talk PM on Monday to help break down better the homeless situation in La Crosse and an amendment that went before the council last week dealing with camping bans in La Crosse parks.

La Crosse Talk PM airs weekdays at 5:06 p.m. Listen on the WIZM app, online here, or on 92.3 FM / 1410 AM / 106.7 FM (north of Onalaska). Find all the podcasts here or subscribe to La Crosse Talk PM wherever you get your podcasts.

Before that, however — and a a few days after a drive-by shooting injured seven people in downtown La Crosse — WIZM’s Brad Williams calls in from the courthouse reporting on the alleged shooter’s first court appearance. We also discussed the Vernon County Sheriff’s deputy shooting and killing of someone during a traffic stop.

Started the show talking about La Crosse native Johnny Davis potentially getting a huge role for the Washington Wizards, after Bradley Beal is traded.
