The 16-year-old suspect has not been officially charged yet with homicide in the girl’s death. He has admitted to striking the victim in the face, apparently causing her to fall and hit her head.

As far as the Mayor saying let the homeless stay at UWL dorms or at Hillview has he learned nothing of the $100s of thousands of destruction they did at the motel they were put up in? And send them to county parks? What about all the people who’s yearly income comes from these camping sites? And when you go through downtown LaCrosse it is like the homeless apocalypse. Destitute people aimlessly walking the streets or sitting on sidewalks or standing on corners panhandling when there is a sign across the street from them saying HIRING! Something needs to be done NOW!
