Governor gets tough on those who provide drugs that lead to fatal overdoses

The drug Fentayl has become a scourge on our society. That is certainly true in La Crosse. Over the last five years, La Crosse County has reported more than 140 overdose deaths, with nearly 100 of them involving Fentanyl. But now those who provide the deadly doses will face increased penalties in Wisconsin. The Republican-authored proposal signed into law by Governor Evers increases the penalty for manufacturing, distributing or delivering a controlled substance that causes the death of someone. The law increases the penalty from a Class C felony to a Class B felony. A Class C felony conviction gives a judge discretion to impose only a fine. The punishment for a Class B felony conviction requires a judge to issue jail time. The new law also cracks down on Fentanyl distribution by increasing the prison time for someone convicted of reckless homicide by setting a maximum sentence of 60 years, up from 40 years. This legislation won’t end the demand for illicit drugs, and it won’t necessarily keep people from overdosing on Fentanyl. But it does crack down on those who provide a drug that causes a fatal overdose, and keeps our streets safer by putting those dealers behind bars for longer periods of time.

Does this mean the Governor will be arresting Biden? He is the one letting all this fentanyl into the U.S.!! Biden is one of the largest drug dealers out there! Don’t you think that’s where the Gov should start? You need to go after the Big Guy, first! Just think how much fentanyl would stop coming in the states, how many lives would be saved!
But I’m sure our super hero Governor Evers doesn’t even think that way, being he worships the President!

It seems the governor has also lost confidence in a judicial branch that seems unable to deal with violent crime. Good news.

Now if we could get dementia Joe to keep the fentanyl out in the first place.

The president makes way too much money from the drugs that comes through the border and into the states!! He’s in bed with all the dirty countries! I believe this one, besides China, comes out of Romania. I wonder what the cartel share is from Bidens kick Back? Bag of rotten oatmeal and spaghettios brain is the main problem with the drug’s getting here! How many times have heard him talk about too many drugs coming from Mexico is a problem? I haven’t heard it once!
