Pump price up to $3.82 a gallon in US, over $3.60 in La Crosse
Summer may be winding down, but gas prices around the country are not.
The AAA says the average pump price in the U.S. is now about $3.82 a gallon. Just over a week ago, the agency said the average price for gas was $3.60 per gallon.
Prices around La Crosse have gone up 10 cents in the past week, with several stations selling gas for $3.69 a gallon. But on the positive side, the national average is 24 cents lower than a year ago.
Around the 4th of July, the average American was paying $3.53 a gallon for gas.
A Janesville station has the lowest gas price in the state at $3.26 a gallon, still a rise of 12 cents over last week.

Buy an electric car that only if you live where you have a garage could you have a dedicated charger. Don’t leave LaCrosse for any trip.
Our energy policy is a joke led by sell out to the left Joe.
The citizens on the lower economic scale get hit harder than anyone.

The price of energy – had no place to go but up! Our current administration is not a fan of affordable energy, it is a fan of high cost, rationed energy.
This is a necessary requirement of their policies of ‘sustainability’ which is really a buzzword for – energy for me (political elite), not for you (political pariah).
As we progress through democrat energy policy your travel, nutrition and housing choices will be necessarily reduced and forced into ‘acceptable’ choices!
