Sparta F.D. block party coming Oct.7 featuring trainings, truck showings, open house

A block party next month for the Erv’s Sparta Area Fire District.

The fire department will host an open house from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. Oct. 7 at 118 East Oak Street (map).

There will also be police, fire, military and EMS vehicle showings, smoke house tours and fire extinguisher training.

B.I.N.G.O. for all, bounce houses and face paintings for the kids and a DJ from 1-6 p.m. followed by live music from “Something Familiar” until 10 p.m.
