As I See It
Impeachment for those who act illegally
Wisconsin Assembly Speaker Robin Vos’s partisanship is showing. Vos has been outspoken about the possibility of impeaching the newest member of the Wisconsin Supreme Court. Judge Janet Protasiewicz won election in April, giving liberals control of the Supreme Court for the first time in 15 years. That could undo some things Wisconsin’s Republican-controlled legislature has done, like creating legislative maps that favor candidates from their party, making it easier for them to win election. Judge Janet was not shy on the campaign trail, expressing her support for abortion rights, and her condemnation of the gerrymandered maps. That has led Vos and others to suggest they may seek to impeach Protasiewicz to keep her from voting on the legal challenges to the map likely to come before the high court. They say if she doesn’t recuse herself, she could be subject to impeachment hearings. That is putting the cart before the horse. She has not acted illegally, or even done anything wrong. Protasiewicz has not said specifically how she would rule in a case deciding the legality of the current maps, and has not said whether she will recuse herself. Impeachment should be reserved for those who behave illegally, not to punish a justice for something they might do.

…we need judges that rule according to the constitution and the law, not from from they personal feels about things…I support her removal as she made it clear about how she will pretend to judge…Hypocrisy is a democrat value.

I can’t agree more. Public school children are failing in every area.
Many high school graduates are not proficient in reading, science, critical thinking or math. Most Public Schools are also teaching CRT, which is unacceptable to parents and most Americans are NOT racists. Thats a liberal lie. Teachers unions hate vouchers because they can’t waste ‘taxpayer’ $$$ as we know they have for many years. Parents have the right to choose vouchers when they realize Public schools are not affectively ‘educating’ their children.

Judge Protasiewicz said during her campaign, said she would recuse herself from any suits brought by the Democrat party. A judge shouldn’t be aligned with the right or left, but with the rule of law as it was written. Looking for “new” meaning in a law is prejudicial. The legislature makes the laws, not the courts.

What part of “if” and “could be” don’t you understand?

He understands. Its word-play the media uses to drum up antagonism. Would, could, might, if, etc. Its lousy journalism meant to create controversy.

She said where she stood on different issues. Was still elected. Don’t like it why didn’t you vote someone else in didn’t you vote. Majority seemed want her.
