La Crosse man charged, after allegedly shooting woman’s tire out with bow and arrow

A 57-year-old La Crosse man is accused of shooting an arrow into the tire of a parked car, while his ex-girlfriend was inside it and ready to drive away.

Darrell Gosa faces four charges, including recklessly endangering safety with a weapon.

According to a criminal complaint, after the two had an argument Wednesday, the woman got into a car, Gosa walked up to the vehicle with a bow and arrow and shot the front passenger tire.

The woman believes Gosa was trying to prevent her from driving away.

Gosa claimed he was playing with the bow and arrow and accidentally shot the tire.

The woman said her truck also got a flat this week, but she doesn’t know how it happened.

In court on Thursday, Gosa was given a $1,000 cash bond and ordered not to possess guns, knives or a bow and arrow.
