Fayze’s, in downtown La Crosse, to close
A La Crosse staple is closing its doors soon, after four decades in business.
Fayze’s announced Thursday its restaurant and bakery at 4th and Pearl streets will close Oct. 8.
The current owners said they’ve been running the family-owned business the past 16 years but the “current state of the scarce workforce, constantly increasing food prices, and continuous uncertainty in our industry weighs even more heavily on us,” forced the closure.
“Our hearts are heavy, and the weight of the decision we have made is heavy on us,” Fayze’s posted to social media, adding, “Thank you to our staff — past and present — for all the love and support. Thank you for tireless hours and exhausting work! Thank you to our customers for sharing your special occasions with us and always reminding us how much we enjoy your company!”

Another business closes thanks to Biodenomics…stolden elections have bad consequences ever for non elitist democrats.

Republicans lacking morals, ethics, and the love for humanity is why Republicans blame it on Biodenomics.
If things happen for a reason.
Contrast brings us opportunities to be, do, and be the best person we can be. or not.
Changing our thoughts will bring us new experiences. We all can be good people if we choose.
A demonstration of love is a demonstration of religion and churches success or failure.
Wisconsin Republicans are cowards to defend the truth.
And that’s the truth!

So much history in that building! Fayze’s has the best food and experiences for so many residents and visitors have been there and all say the same… its Great! Fayze’s was a constant for me too. Best food and the service was great. It saddens me to see another business closing its doors because of our economy. This is becoming the KILLING OF AMERICA!
This building has a deeper meaning behind it for me. It was owned by members of my family. Please keep it authentic…. the historical persona to those buildings…
You’ve served the community well. Thank you! Be blessed!

I really rue its passing. I have been going there since it was Le Cue Club in the ’70’s. Great food and staff… and those talame buns!
