Nick Offerman to speak at Winona State
Nick Offerman is headed to speak at Winona State University next month.
“A Conversation with Nick Offerman” happens at 7 p.m. Nov. 16 at Harriet Johnson Auditorium.
The WSU news release doesn’t provide any details into exactly how “the conversation” would go with Offerman.
It does, however, highlight some of the immensely popular work he’s done as an actor and beyond.
Offerman may be best known for his portrayal of Ron Swanson in the sitcom Parks and Recreation. Offerman is an award-winning actor, a New York Times-bestselling author and an acclaimed woodworker.
He may also be remembered for his role in a standalone episode of HBO’s “The Last of Us,” for which he received an Emmy nomination for Outstanding Guest Actor In A Drama Series.
Currently, Offerman is shooting a leading role in season 4 of Netflix’s “Umbrella Academy.”
Later this year he will appear in the Amazon Studios film “Candy Cane Lane,” opposite Eddie Murphy and Tracee Ellis Ross; the eighth installment of the “Mission: Impossible” franchise; and in Alex Garland’s film “Civil War,” opposite Kirsten Dunst.
