Plans for redeveloping the Kmart lot at State Road and Losey Boulevard were reviewed Tuesday by the La Crosse Judiciary and Administration committee.
A day after the City Plan Commission granted an extension for Three-Sixty Real Estate Solutions, the J&A committee did, as well.
Developers want to put both apartment buildings mixed-use townhomes on the site, but have cited costs, supplies and interest rates as a need for delay.
Back in August, Three-Sixty talked about the plan and the need for delay on La Crosse Talk PM.
The 18-month extension will be taken up by the city council Oct. 12.
