Began the show simply talking about William’s role — he’s also the 3rd US House District Dem chair — that led into a meeting he’s hosting about Republicans test running autocracies in the state. And then we got into some Star Wars, with Ahsoka just concluding.
After the break, we talk about the Wisconsin GOP anti-trans bills in regards to sports.
The second half of the show was a bit about reports of Derrick Van Orden’s latest outburst during a White House press briefing.
Ended the show talking with Waddell about her fifth annual Thriller remake in La Crescent, which anyone can participate. Check out the Facebook page. They have rehearsal Sunday at the La Crescent Fire Department parking lot and the whole thing culminates Oct. 29.

The democrat party in wisconsin is also now on record for backing the injecting chemical castration drugs into children, they are also now on record for backing surgical modification of the developing body, they are also now on record for NOT protecting our young women and young men who are not proponents of this NEW biology!
The democrat party is now on record for supporting and backing junk (crap) science! but then there is nothing new there.

I don’t understand Mr William Garcia’s comments when he states this bill is TARGETING the 6 trans students in Wisconsin participating in sports.
Mr Garcia totally disregards the majority of non-trans students. Mr Garcia is TARGETING and imposing stress, emotional anxieties, long term phycological, and dis regarding the wellbeing of the other 99.999% of non-trans students. (6 trans divided by 178,841 WI students in sports)
The hypocrisy is very interesting. Mr Garcia states when it is a political contrast such as when Tony Evers won 51.1% to Michaels 47.8% it is too bad for the smaller percentage of the population they must move along.
Mr Garcia then goes on and incorrectly states on a public radio station that after 6 months of taking hormone blockers there is no impact on the athlete’s performance.

…athletes who transitioned after puberty are ineligible to compete in elite international swimming competitions.
Everyone should be able to live their lives, trans, gay, straight, etc.
Hypothetically, I do not believe or can ever support if a 6’3″, 225 LB volleyball player that was born with 1x & 1y chromosome, then identifies as woman, should be able to compete against a person that was born with 2x chromosomes.
Mr Garcia …you should be ashamed when you erroneously frame this bill as a target. It is protecting the 99.999% of students from emotional harm.
