Josie Dikeman is hoping to have her $250,000 cash bond reduced, while waiting to be tried for the death of Alexavier Pedrin. The boy reportedly died from blunt force trauma last February.

Dikeman’s bond was $1 million shortly after her arrest in May.

The 31-year-old Dikeman faces felony charges of 1st degree homicide, repeated physical abuse of a child and chronic neglect of a child leading to death.

A defense attorney argued that Dikeman has not fled the area and claims there’s no direct evidence to prove that she caused the injuries blamed for Alexavier’s death.

The bond was reduced to $250,000 at Dikeman’s August bond hearing.
