Viterbo sweeps conference regular season, playoffs for 14th-consecutive 30-win season

The fifth-ranked Viterbo University women’s volleyball team completed a sweep of both the regular and conference playoffs seasons.

The V-Hawks improved to 30-4 with a 3-0 win in the NSAA playoff championship — their ninth straight — Saturday over Bellevue.

It’s the 14th consecutive 30-win season for Viterbo under coach Ryan DeLong, who’s been with the team 19 seasons.

Viterbo continues on to the NAIA tournament, beginning Saturday. Pairings and match locations will be announced at 2 p.m. Monday.
