Martinez is naive. So is the School Board. Apparently both are being told no material number of jobs will be lost. However, the savings from school consolidation is reduced District headcount. If there is no reduction of headcount there is little to no reason to eliminate the schools their teachers and parents want so desperately to keep open. Its nuts.
