Election year is finally here

Happy New Year? 2023 has come to a close and we welcome in 2024. We look forward to better times ahead, until we remember that this is an election year. It seems like it has been election season ever since Joe Biden was sworn in as President, and indeed campaigning has become a never-ending job for those seeking public office. But with eleven months remaining until we get to determine who we want to lead this country for the next four years, the rhetoric is about to get ramped up. The campaign commercials, and the lies they contain, will become more frequent. The candidates will visit more often and their promises will become more bold. And once again, Wisconsin finds itself in the center of it all, likely to again be one of a handful of states that determine the outcome of the election. So we will be more exposed to the political posturing than our friends in other states. Yay for us. It is likely going to be a long 11 months. None better at lying than Dictator Joe and Trump.
The difference is the media protects lying Joe to the detriment of the country.

Democrats will be told how to think, how to vote, and what lies to believe from the democrat controlled liberal bias fake media all other people will think for themselves with the facts before them from all sources. Fact not opinion

While I don’t disagree with the op-ed, it’s pretty rich coming from Shaw. Shaw and company have been throwing rocks at conservatives over every petty matter they can think of and distorting the truth about republicans in support of Progs agenda non-stop since 2020.

How many articles on Vanorden’s dustup with capitol staff were we bored by in the past year? How many times were we told Vanorden voted to reduce social security benefits (a lie)?

On the other hand, how often did Shaw and company inform readership that Gov Evers had vetoed elimination of income tax for most retirees (not very often if at all).
