Can Biden win without visiting Wisconsin?

on

The 2024 presidential election is expected to be close once again. And once again, Wisconsin is at center stage of determining who will serve as our next President. Four of the last six presidential elections in Wisconsin have been decided by less than a single percentage point. Polls suggest it will be equally tight in the coming contest. Wisconsin Governor Tony Evers suggests in a recent interview that the difference in deciding Wisconsin could be how often President Biden visits the state. Evers says Biden must visit Wisconsin to convince the people his policies are working, and that they should vote for him. I’m not sure that would make a difference. Biden has been to Wisconsin seven times since being elected, but his poll numbers are largely unchanged in the state. Donald Trump has spent little time in the Badger state during this campaign, and his poll numbers look just fine. Do we need to see more of Joe Biden to convince us to vote for him? Half of the state doesn’t want him to visit, and the other half is already planning to vote for him. Why would personal visits make a difference? I’m not sure there is anything Biden or Trump could do to change people’s voting preference at this point. Of course, Biden is welcome to visit Wisconsin, as long as he doesn’t try to demonstrate his beer pouring skills.

Biden will win if Trump is stupidly nominated by Republicans.
Biden will lose if it is Haley or DeSantis is nominated. Either of them nominated and the focus will be on his disastrous record. The media, of course, will do their best to protect him.

I think President Biden should come and have a town hall type forum to help us understand his position and logic.

As a country we all (both us and the Republicans) have to evaluate what is going on with the policies in our country.

Our country is being over run with people not abiding by laws of the land. If one looks at the immigration and how the borders are being overrun. The increase in crime and the burden it places on every city where these people are being settled is terrible.

How is a city, county, or country expected to be able to sustain economic prosperity with the current policies driving all of the issues surrounding us.

We have friends and family in southern California and they are moving back here as my goodness this is horrific.

Nice try Mr WIZM. The real question is “can Biden win Wisconsin whether he visits or not”

Families working two jobs can barely afford groceries and are in the hole financially after Christmas.

People drive to work past used car lots and are painfully aware if their current car dies they will not be able to afford a reliable used car much less a new one.

And homes…not for them. But plenty of Soviet style apartments are being built.

Think about how much things have deteriorated in the last four years. Let’s have more of that.
