As I See It
Things get interesting if neither candidate gets 270 electoral votes
The common school of thought is that the next President of the United States will be named either Biden or Trump. But what if that school of thought is wrong? There are many reasons to wonder. Neither party is all that enthused about the prospects of another term for either candidate. Joe Biden is considered too old by many, including a number of democrats. Donald Trump is facing a number of legal woes, and a significant number of republicans indicate they would re-evaluate their support for him if he is convicted of a felony. In order to win, a candidate needs to secure 270 electoral votes, and there is a possibility that may not happen if Robert Kennedy Jr. performs well on election day. That’s when things could get interesting. According to federal law, if no candidate gets the required 270 electoral votes, the election shifts from the Electoral College to the states. Each state would get one vote and whatever candidate gets the vote of 26 states would become the next President. The Vice-President would be selected by a vote from the U.S. Senate. We expect the race between Trump and Biden to be close. If it is, we could find the process of choosing our next President in uncharted territory.

Just what we need a race between two adept liars.
I am not sure what anyone is worried about.
Biden will win and we will continue the journey to socialism. Trump will yell the election was stolen once again and his minions will believe him.
The media will do their job of protecting Biden and democrats as they have in the past.
Democracy in this country is dying.
The left wants to do away with electoral college and pack the Supreme Court.
If this happens, they run the country because they firmly believe they are the only ones who are smart enough to run the country.
If the electoral college falls, small states will no longer matter or have any voice.

I have a question for you. Democrats believe the last election was fair and no election fraud existed. So here is my question. If election fraud doesn’t exist, then why do we have laws against it? Why create laws for something that doesn’t exist? To say there was no election fraud in the past election is completely ignorant. Every election has some level of fraud. It’s impossible not to have it. Republicans wanted the fraud to be investigated. Democrats wanted the fraud to be ignored. Because of their hate for Trump. All logic on the left has disappeared. Democracy is not a spectator sport. Yet Democrats want that. What is wrong with asking questions? And why were Democrats so afraid of an investigation if they had nothing to hide? And again, if election fraud doesn’t exist, then why create laws against it?
