Myers pleads “not guilty” to Onalaska crash that killed male passenger

Savannah Myers will now be scheduled to go on trial for a deadly car crash in the Onalaska area.

Myers, who lives in Blair, pleads “not guilty” to a vehicular homicide charge, for driving down an embankment, allegedly while she was drunk.

Passenger Josh Hernandez was thrown from the car, and died. Myers’s two young children were injured in the accident.

Judge Elliott Levine says this case calls for the appointment of a guardian for those children, while the 24-year-old Myers waits to be tried.

The fatal crash happened last October, after Myers and Hernandez had been at a bar near Valley View Mall.
