The YWCA La Crosse celebrated its first Empower Women Summit with a visit by Wisconsin Secretary of State Sarah Godlewski.

During a keynote address Friday morning, Godlewski praised La Crosse for having women in key local political positions. She pointed to “amazing women” on the La Crosse County Board, including the two most recent board chairs, Monica Kruse and Tara Johnson.

Godlewski also noted that six of the seven justices on the Wisconsin Supreme Court are women. She, however compared that to the state legislature being just 31 percent female, with an even lower percentage in local government offices around Wisconsin — though the city of La Crosse has a majority-led female city council.

The YWCA summit was held at the Franciscan Spirituality Center of La Crosse, to mark International Women’s Day.

But did they report out how many Wisconsin abortions have been committed since the “amazing women” were elected to the Supreme Court?

I don’t believe for a minute this ghoulish leftist political group represents Wisconsin women at large.
