Write-in candidates receive 48.1% of vote in La Crosse School Board race
Write-in votes will have to be counted in the La Crosse School Board race.
With all 34 precincts reporting, write-in candidates received 48.1% of the vote.
There are three open seats to fill on the school board and only two candidates — Tim Alberts and Adam Manka — were on the ballot.
Alberts received 29.9% of the vote, while Manka got 22.0%.
There were 20,159 votes cast in the race.
So, the clerk’s office will have to tally up the votes to see which three candidates will be sworn into the board for a three-year term later this month.

FYI: The 48.07% of the Write-in votes were spread over a minimum of 6 Write-ins. There were numerous counted Write-ins over and above the Registered Write-in candidates.

If the vote counting is as good as they have been telling us, why don’t we know the results of a simple school board election 5 days later?
Which write in candidate won the 3rd board opening.
