No strike for union workers at City Brewing.

Teamsters Local 695 and City Brewing appear to have worked out a new agreement, according to the company.

In late March, union workers were voting to authorize a strike if a new contract was not reached by early May.

There are about 485 union workers at City Brewery represented by the union.

Anita Hernandez, the brewery’s corporate communications manager, said in a statement they have ratified a new five-year agreement with the union.

“The contract offers significant increases in wages and benefits for City Brewery employees, positioning the company for future growth and demonstrating our commitment to attracting and retaining top talent in La Crosse,” Hernandez said in the statement, though provided no other details.

“We appreciate the work of the bargaining team and union leadership over the past several months to reach this outcome,” she continued. “We also recognize the continued hard work and focus from our employees throughout this process. We are excited to move forward together and continue delivering for our customers.”
