Onalaska man enters not guilty plea to child sexual assault, drug charges

A 56-year-old Onalaska man pleaded not guilty Tuesday to sex-related crimes and meth possession.

During Timothy Palubicki hearing in La Crosse County court, Judge Elliott Levine found probable cause to try him for charges, including second-degree sexual assault of a child, use of a computer to facilitate a sex crime and methamphetamine possession.

During a sting, Palubicki allegedly contacted a police investigator posing as a minor.

After his arrest April 11, Palubicki was ordered to have no contact with anyone under 18 and was told not to use the internet.

No trial date has been set but a status conference in the case is set for September.
