As I See It
Trump trial proves our justice system works
For the first time in U.S. history, a former President has been charged and found guilty of criminal conduct. Donald Trump was unanimously convicted of all 34 counts against him, but in typical Trump fashion is playing the victim card. Trump was vocal throughout the campaign that the criminal charges were a political witch-hunt. One day after his conviction, Trump again declared his innocence and railed against the U.S. system of Justice. He claims President Biden was behind the effort to drag him to court. That is simply not true. Biden has no influence of power over the attorney who brought the charges or the judge who administered the trial. The case was not brought by the U.S. Department of Justice, but rather the Manhattan District Attorney’s office. The trial did not take place in a federal court, but in the New York court system. Trump was not framed. He was not set up by Joe Biden or anyone else. He committed a series of crimes and was found guilty by a jury of his peers. This shows that no one is above the law, just as our system of justice is supposed to work.

this was an abortion of justice, the whole world knows that and sees that. they change and fabricated law/rules and manipulated them to find him guilty of what? thinking about something? they claim he thought? this will be over turned and everyone involved will be exposed, prosecuted and disbarred and most likely tried for treason against the United States of America.

The trial is a perfect example of how the system should not work.
Prosecutors who ran on getting Donald Trump.
Prosecuting misdemeanors as felonies beyond the statute of limitations.
Violation of the right to have a fair and impartial jury.
Refusal to allow a change of venue to get a fair and impartial jury.
A judge who supports the Democratic Party and has a family member who benefits financially from a conviction.
A judge with a pattern of who sustaining prosecution objections and overruling defense objections.
Convoluted jury instructions that included pick a felony crime and you don’t have to believe he’s guilty to convict.
Digging up dirt many years old, calling it a crime, and prosecuting just prior to an election.
Multiple other charges with trials occurring at roughly the same time ahead of the election.
Prosecuting the only remaining Republican opponent to the democrat party.

You mean the Justice System that works – for a misdemeanor who’s statute of limitations had run out? Make sure to say our Justice System works when this conviction gets reversed on Appeal. I will be waiting to read that from you. You may not get the chance to do that as Trump 47 would just Pardon himself before the Appeals process would play out. That would also be the American Justice System working out. Another possibility of our Justice System working would be the SCOTUS taking this up to save our nation against one political party interfering in this Presidential Election.

What a useless tool Shaw is. Not a hint of objectivity or originality, nor a shred of critical thinking.

LG and the others are correct. Also, it came out this morning that Hillary Clinton was fined $8,000 for making a false dossier that was used to Impeach Donald J Trump twice. That WAS paid for by her campaign.
Mr Shaw that shows that Donald J Trump’s specious conviction WAS NOT an equal Application of Justice.

The Trump trial proved nothing of the sort! The only thing it did proved was how far the Trump haters will go to destroy a person to achieve what they want! Proved how far
The Democrat party will go to keep power!
Your opinion has no credibility!!!

I am not sure how old Scott Robert Shaw is but assume he is a product of the corrupt educational system.
The system that has laid bare their anti-Semitic teachings. A system that does not want critical thinkers who can connect all the dots and see all sides. A system that demands fealty to left wing ideas.

The whole Main Stream Media labels the “Non Disclosure Agreement” as HUSH MONEY TRAIL. The amount of NDA’s that have been issued, perhaps even with other elected officals and no one else is labeled as HUSH MONEY PAYMENTS. Isn’t that what a non disclosure agreement is? The person is not supposed to disclose.
Then the billed legal expenses of $120 grand by an attorney for the Trump organization is something that is in the accounting department of the company.
To further this, it is a misdemeanor for any other company but not for Trump. That is not an equal administration of the laws.
Well then you have an Op Ed by Mr Shaw that says the judicial system is working. This sounds as if it is just another AP press release that is parroted by these news stations.
To further look at how the “narratives” are being pushed, look at the borders issue. For 3.5 years the President said he couldn’t do anything. They said the border was secure, the AP published the Narrative including here, that the Republican congress was not passing the bill to secure the border.
The current Biden administration is not following the laws and now we find out that the President lied that he was doing all that he could. He had the authority all along to stop the mass illegal insurgence into America.
He is just proven that he has not upheld his oath of office and the legal system should be applied fairly and evenly.

Look back at the AS I SEE IT post by Scott Robert Shaw dated Feb 7, 2024 and re-read how the narrative is congress needs to pass a bill verses having our judicial system work and enforce the laws on the books. When the title of this blog is “trial proves our justice system works” it is another political narrative being pushed.
