Former UW-L chancellor Joe Gow hearing over faculty position set for this week

Joe Gow’s future with UW-La Crosse could be decided with a Wednesday hearing scheduled off-campus, in Onalaska, at the OmniCenter.

Gow was removed from the position of chancellor late last year, after it was learned that he and his wife have been producing pornographic videos.

Gow, who was set to retire as chancellor after the school year, yet keep a teaching position, might still be allowed as a faculty member at the university.

The Universitys of Wisconsin reportedly will have a team of lawyers arguing for Gow’s removal at the early afternoon hearing, which will be open to the public.
