Ballot drop boxes safe, secure, and legal again

Finally, some common sense has been restored to rules regarding voting in Wisconsin. The state Supreme Court has reversed a prior ruling and declared that ballot drop boxes are a legal way to cast your ballot. In 2022, the Supreme Court ruled ballot drop boxes like the one that used to be located outside La Crosse’s City Hall to be illegal. That forced those casting absentee ballots to either hand deliver them to their local clerk’s office, or put them in the U.S. mail, in an attempt to cut down on supposed voter fraud. They painted a picture of people somehow stuffing those outdoor ballot boxes with illegal ballots to shape the outcome of the election. Drop boxes were never a source of voter fraud. It just made things more convenient for voters, and this latest ruling will ensure that is again the case. The drop boxes like the one outside city hall are often located on city property, often near police departments, and under constant video surveillance. That seems a safer way to vote than putting the ballot in the mail, where it first must go to St. Paul to be sorted before being returned to La Crosse.  Drop box voting is safe, secure, and legal, and this ruling is a victory for democracy.

You have no idea if they are safe, secure or if the ballots are ‘legal’.

Shaw has no idea most of the time; he just regurgitates what the other liberal press or his buddies at La Crosse County Dems dictate to him. Truly sad to witness.

Drop boxes are critical to making it easy for lazy low information voters, who primarily vote Dem, because these non-thinkers are prey to what psychologists call the “illusory truth effect”. That is, if the press repeats lies often enough, people will fall for the lie, because it is easier than questioning what they are being told repeatedly.

The fraud with drop boxes occurs because, among other things, they cannot all be watched, and they have often been placed in selective (read Dem) neighborhoods as a discrete form of ballot harvesting to increase Dem votes. There are no rules governing where or when drop boxes are used; that is open to local officials to determine. The lockbox allows local officials in Dem strongholds like Milwaukee and Madison to effectively create unsupervised new voting “precincts” to collect the desired votes.

Was the hushing of the Biden laptop story by the media and intelligence community voter fraud? Probably not, but it certainly was election fraud that impacted the last election.

So we see ongoing insidious erosion of citizens’ confidence in the voting system, which has been weaponized by the Left. In the future probably no president will be seen as legitimate by half the country.

Shaw is controlled by the democrat party and has some of the same problem as Biden, he’s delusional and out of touch.

If you can’t vote early in person or don’t like the crowd on election day, don’t vote.
I am tired of all the excuses of what a chore it is to vote every 4 years.
Mr. Shaw has once again turned a blind eye to what has happened in other cities with video of people stuffing ballot boxes. If your argument is that type of activity does not happen here so why worry about it? Well then explain why the riots that happened in Minneapolis has caused the local county board to assemble a police oversite committee when we do not have a problem with our local law enforcement in the coulee region?

Why is it only Democrats find excuses about how hard it is to vote?

Can you (and the WI Supreme Court) read the LAW regarding this topic?
