Wisconsin’s 3rd District Rep. Derrick Van Orden (R-Prairie du Chien) put out a statement asking Vice President Kamala Harris and the president’s cabinet to remove Biden, claiming he is not physically or mentally able to perform the duties of his office.

In a letter to Harris, Van Orden says the U.S. and the world are “unnecessarily at risk” as long as Biden remains president.

Over the weekend, Biden announced that he would not run for re-election, and Harris has been gathering support to become the Democratic nominee.

Van Orden says removing Biden would help “restore faith and confidence” in the federal government.

The 25th Amendment, revising the standards for presidential succession, was passed in the 1960s, shortly after the assassination of President John Kennedy.

Van Orden is absolutely correct. Biden ought to be removed. The electorate, being people like myself, have no idea who is actually making decisions. Biden in his current intellectual, mental and emotional state is compromised, this places the decision-making tasks onto his unelected subordinates or family members.

He needs to be removed from office, to build trust that our system of government works at the very least.

Having Kamala in the Oval Office is not attractive at all. If she gets into a policy making role, without an opposition check/balance, this country is in 10x more trouble that it is currently in.

The First Son seems to be a regular at the table. He’s still creeping around looking for his mis-placed bag of cocaine but also hanging around with pen and paper in hand to have dear old dad sign off on his amnesty before its too late.

All very comforting. Still, not sure if current situation is worse than having Harris stepping into Biden’s shoes. That says a lot.
