Do they want him to stay or go?
Just who do they want on the ballot? Republicans in Washington are sending mixed signals now that Joe Biden has exited the race. Some members of Congress, including House Speaker Mike Johnson and Western Wisconsin Congressman Derrick Van Orden, are calling on Vice President Kamala Harris to invoke the 25th Amendment. They argue Biden is unable to discharge the powers and duties required of him as President, and should be removed from office before his term is complete. Their argument is that Biden is incompetent. That is quite a charge. Incompetence is a diagnosis best left to a doctor, not members of Congress. So it is clear they want Biden gone sooner rather than later. Or do they? On another front, Speaker Johnson and others are considering the idea of filing lawsuits, seeking to keep Joe Biden’s name on the ballot in several states, even though he is not running. Experts are throwing cold water on that notion, mainly because technically Joe Biden is not the nominee, something that only happens at the nominating convention. They seem to be talking out of both sides of their mouths, saying Joe must go, but also that Biden must remain on the ballot. So what is it they really want?

Who are the “experts” “throwing cold water”? Keeping Biden’s name on the ballot seems like a smart political move to me. Elections often have names on the ballot of candidates who are no longer running for one reason or another. It’s the Democrats making all these calculated moves that you seem to like. Doesn’t hurt for the Republicans to make a few, also.

Your opinion piece today perfectly illustrates what’s wrong with the Democratic Party. It is the Democrats that created this untenable situation And Democrats are doing absolutely nothing to solve the problem they created. This man had dementia before he ever took office. It didn’t matter to Democrats. He has had dementia throughout his term. It didn’t matter to Democrats. There is a well-known cover-up made by Democrats and their corporate media The extent of his impairment. Joe Biden was too impaired to stand trial for his mishandling of documents and once again he is too Impaired to run for a second term. Democrats are doing nothing about it even though they have the tool of the 25th amendment to remove him from office. He does not have the judgment to be the president. His so-called decision to drop out of the race happened because he is easily influenced by others. Those others can also include the likes of Kim Jong-un and Vladimir Putin, and remember, Biden has given Vladimir Zelinski of Ukraine a blank check further bankrupting the country. Republicans don’t know how to fix this problem and Democrats have failed and continue to fail to do anything about it. it seems to be about Democrat power with no care or concerns for the welfare of our country. And if none of this is concerning, remember, he has the nuclear football. and SRS sits back and blames Republicans for being unsure what to Do even though the Democrat, vice president has the power and does nothing.

Dems seem to want Biden to stay in office, but they oust him from the ticket because he is too mentally infirm to “beat Trump.”
Methinks Dems and their favorite local tool SRS are the ones that “seem to be talking out of both sides of their mouth” but aren’t smart enough to realize it.

Another good point made. So Democrats clearly want Joe Biden to remain in the role of chief executive because they have not seen fit to remove him. Yet, they do not want him to be the chief executive because they removed him from his own election campaign. Seems like Democrats are talking out of both sides of their mouth doesn’t it?
……..Unless, this is only about Democrats finding a way to retain power. No, it’s not about the people because the people within the Democrat party voted for Joe Biden to be the nominee. This is clearly about Democrats retaining power, so the ruling class of Democrats have decided they are “more equal” than the people who voted in the primary just like the pigs in George Orwell‘s Animal Farm were more equal than others.

Yes, SRS and the rest of the gang in the media are the equivalent of Squealer in Animal Farm. Squealer’s job was to promote propaganda and doublespeak to keep the sheep confused and in line. The media narrative is modified as needed to promote their goals.

Joe Biden was not eliminated from the Dem ticket because he is senile…he was eliminated because the public found out he is senile. Think about it.

Different people can have different opinions, especially at that beginning of debating a new issue. That’s what the the process of persuasion is for.

Amazing to me that the Democratic party use a real THREAT TO DEMOCRACY and the U.S. citizens right to vote. They employ a dictator type tactic and anoint some on after they Colluded for a long period of time with democratic House and Senators.
Interesting that the “SPIN” is out now that Mr Biden is doing this for his love of the country. Just a mere day before his announcement of dropping out he was adamant that he was in it to win it. After Senator Schumer and Pelosi gave him an ultimatum he exits the race. The donor base stopped funding, Mr Biden was forced out.
It also amazes me that alot of people are on the news stating he selfishly gave his service to the country. HE WAS PAID AND ENRICHED FOR HIS JOB(s). Joe Biden DID NOT serve and donated his salary for the love of the country.
The country has lived and witnessed how this played out.
