Big cheese award winner, WI state Sen. Pfaff, on Microsoft data center energy consumption

Published

Wisconsin state Sen. Brad Pfaff joins La Crosse Talk on Friday and a big part of the discussion was about a Microsoft data center being built in Racine County. We also talked about a ‘big cheese’ award he received.

La Crosse Talk airs weekdays at 6-9 a.m. Listen on the WIZM app, online here, or on 92.3 FM / 1410 AM / 106.7 FM (north of Onalaska). Find all the podcasts here or subscribe to La Crosse Talk PM wherever you get your podcasts.

The data center was touted by President Joe Biden, and kind of a shot at former President Donald Trump, former Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker, because of their promotion of Foxconn being built there, which has been mostly a failure to this point.

With Pfaff, we also joked about his winning a Cheesemakers Association award for his support of dairy legislation and learned he’s got a little cheese trophy, he’ll bring in studio next week.

Biden “touted” the new center. He had nothing to do with Microsoft’s decision to build there, but he showed up there to take some bows, much like Pfaff does. Photo-Op Brad.

    Stink-cheese, perhaps.
