As I See It
Switching quarterbacks and backups?
We have seen what shifting gears can do to stir up a presidential race. Suddenly, democrats are endeared with Kamala Harris and seem to have momentum after a long languishing Biden campaign. It seems the trajectory of the race has been changed by substituting one candidate for another. Will there be yet another shifting of gears in this contest? Donald Trump’s selection of JD Vance as his running mate reportedly has some wondering if that was the right pick. There hasn’t exactly been a surge in the polling numbers since Trump made the selection in Milwaukee. Quite the opposite, if the numbers are to be believed. It isn’t helping that Vance made some controversial comments, like referring to women without kids as “childless cat ladies” and once writing that he hated police. Some establishment republicans are reportedly having second thoughts about Vance and encouraging he be replaced by a new candidate now that the electoral landscape has changed with Harris at the top of the ticket. Maybe the new tactic is when things aren’t going well, you get a new candidate. Kind of like the transfer portal in college athletics.

Scott-
The polls show that President Trump has maintained a slight lead over Ms. Harris. The real poll is state-by-state electoral votes, where Trump has a sizeable lead Quite remarkable when you consider the fawning adoration and non-stop media coverage, including yours, of Ms. Harris.
ex. Did Chuck Schumer endorse her yet? Did Hilary and Bill Clinton? How about Nancy Pelosi? I wonder if Barack Obama will endorse her? Then, the Democrats got more mileage over whether she was ever the “Border Czar”. Now, it turns out that no one in the Biden administration was responsible for the border if Kamala wasn’t, right? On your station, Mr. Solem pasted about 7 pictures and stories of Democrat chair Garcia and his reaction to everything but the winner of Saturday night’s stock car race. All this is filler until the Democrats’ convention when additional non-stop coverage will begin. All this media preference is quite apparent to the voters which is why the media is so universally disliked in poll after poll. The internet, on which there are no FCC rules covering balanced coverage, has only exasperated the dislike.
If I remember, liberals didn’t like Mike Pence, either, saying he was too straight.
Ms. Harris has had 3 1/2 years to appear Presidential and appear more centrist and likeable in order to win. Left-wingers like Bernie Sanders, George McGovern, Michael Dukakis, John Kerry and the record of Kamala Harris, if she doesn’t appeal to more than the Cat Women, all fall short.

Unsaid is that “the polls” also show Vance more popular than Harris.
Meanwhile, MI gov Whitmer and NC gov Cooper have withdrawn from consideration as Harris’ VP. Can we say “sinking ship?”

I have an idea: don’t take phrases out of context. That is good for both sides of this presidential race. Also, DON’T rewrite history by changing and eliminating things that are out there and have been said by the candidates. Quit lying,,,,,

Only three weeks ago the Dems were trying to find a way to get rid of Harris, a shallow, giggling moron with no grasp of the issues and no way to express what she doesn’t understand.
Now, she has been elevated after the fraud called the Biden Presidency was exposed. An anti-semite, Harris has already eliminated Penns Shapiro from consideration for the VP slot due to her hatred of jews.

You mention that some question Vance as Trump’s pick. Of course. People have opinions. Will you question the Dims’ coup to replace Biden? If not, seems hypocritical.
