Wisconsin state Assembly Democratic candidate Tara Johnson
Tara Johnson joined La Crosse Talk on Monday.
The former La Crosse County Board chair is running for Wisconsin state Assembly in the 96th District, that now includes the southern half of the city of La Crosse. Johnson talks about some of her priorities in the race, including women’s healthcare access, public education funding and childcare.

Johnson also talks about how her experience readies her for the job in Madison.
Johnson is running in a Democratic primary against Steven Campbell. Voting begins July 30 and ends Aug. 13. The winner will face Republican Loren Oldenburg.

Tara is wrong for La Crosse; she lied to us before and will do it again. Maybe Rick should pull his head out of the ground and ask about how she unethically removed a family member from the business her father inlaw started
