Walz ready to move country forward

Published

on

Who? That is a question many across the country are asking as Tim Walz was announced as the running mate for presidential candidate Kamala Harris. Walz may be familiar to people in Minnesota and Wisconsin, but not so much around the country. For the unfamiliar, Walz is a former teacher and coach in Mankato, and a former member of the National Guard who rose to one of its highest ranks during his decades-long service. He is well liked in Minnesota, according to approval ratings, and is a Governor who has a history of getting things, big things, done.  As Governor, Walz has consistently provided tax cuts in his budget, has lowered prescription drug costs, banned the use of hand-held cell phones, protected women’s reproductive freedoms, made historic investments in public education, banned medical debt from impacting credit scores and cut child poverty. That is a pretty good track record. Quite simply, Walz has a record of getting things done and working to improve the lives of his constituents. He has also never made fun of childless women. It is unclear if Walz will help Harris become the next President, but it is clear that if elected, Walz would be ready to serve on day one.

Other items sure to come up in the rugged campaign:

Walz’s 95 in a 65 DUI. Stopped again for DUI 20 years later..sped off. (Media reports)

Former National Guard officers saying Walz “ducked out” of duty when he retired just before his unit shipped out to Iraq.

Walz, as governor, ordering tampon dispensers in public school boy’s bathrooms.

And this is just a day after his joining Kamala’s team.

It gets rougher at this level, Scott.

Once again…One sided Scott Robert Shaw. Look at how he managed the Minneapolis riots. Look at his policy on gender operations on children without informing parents. Look at his policy on giving Medicare to illegals which will impact leagal citizens

He is a progressive to left wing candidate. We will never know because the media would never tell but is this her choice or Bernie’s?
What really bothers me is the left complete disdain for family dynamics.
Ready to lead us where? The anti – Semitic left wing of the Democratic Party bounced Shapiro. Shaw and others never want to to talk about that.
What a FARCE being put on by the Dems and the media.

Shaw is doomed to the shallow end of the pool.

For a more in-depth and thoughtful analysis see the Wall Street Journal op ed Aug 7. The damage done to Minnesota by Walz in two short years has been terrible. To wit:

No, Walz did not lower taxes, MN now has the 5th highest tax rate in the country at 9.85% and the wealthy are fleeing the state to establish residences in tax havens like Tennessee and Florida. That matters because the wealthy pay the majority of tax collections.

Walz went on the spending spree that WI Dems have been dreaming of…only to now find they have gone from a surplus to a deficit. Just brilliant. More high taxes on the way.

Walz made 81,000 illegals eligible for drivers licenses and state sponsored health care.

Walz added a .88% payroll tax to expand paid family and medical leave. Yet another tax.

And the list goes on. By the way, the Wall Street Journal is no friend to Donald Trump.

It is true that Walz is all-in on unlimited baby killing but has made Minnesota a refuge for actual living children seeking sex change.

Tim Waltz has done a lot for Minnesota. For one, he let Minneapolis burn and did nothing. Taxes keep going up. I don’t think he is well liked in Minnesota as you say.
