Much has changed in presidential race, yet much remains the same

Much has changed in the presidential race in just the past month. President Joe Biden had that awful debate performance. Donald Trump survived an assassination attempt, and selected a Vice Presidential candidate. The GOP convention, held in Milwaukee, was practically a coronation, as Republicans were riding high on enthusiasm. And of course, Biden dropped out, and Kamala Harris has become the Democratic nominee.  But as much as things have changed, they have also stayed the same, at least in Wisconsin. The latest Marquette University Law School poll shows that despite the recent happenings, Wisconsin remains a dead heat, with Trump and Harris essentially tied in the state. The first poll since Biden dropped out shows Trump with a 50-49% lead among registered voters, while among likely voters Harris has a slight edge. Wisconsin remains a toss-up. One change from the previous poll is voter enthusiasm, which has risen significantly among Democrats with Harris at the helm of the party. Trump’s big lead on the enthusiasm measure has essentially dwindled. So as much as things have changed in the race, Wisconsin remains bitterly divided on who our next President should be, and, barring any more shakeups in the race, likely will remain so until election day.

Much has changed…but the media propaganda has not.

Once again Scott has it wrong. Trump became the Republican nominee thru the appropriate democratic process, winning votes thru the primary before being confirm at the convention. Harris on the other hand is the one receiving coronation to run for the Dems. Harris has never received votes in a primary for president in this election or even the last one. The Dems are always hailing the democratic process, yet they are the ones always trying to corrupt it.
