Pair in La Crosse drug trafficking case in court Wednesday

A 44-year-old drug trafficking suspect pleaded not guilty Wednesday in La Crosse County court.

La Crosse police investigator Andrew Tolvstad testified that drugs were found hidden inside Raymond Lewis’s underwear when he was taken to jail.

Lewis is accused of dealing drugs from the Division Street home of Christina Joswick, who is charged with seven criminal counts in the investigation.

Police arrested the two after drugs were found during a north La Crosse traffic stop two weeks ago.

Joswick’s next court hearing is on Sept. 4. Lewis has a hearing in October.
