As I See It

Time to ask Kamala Harris the tough questions. But will she answer?

Democrats sure have fallen in love with Kamala Harris. In a span of just weeks, Harris has become the presidential nominee, raised hundreds of millions of dollars and risen sharply in the polls, overtaking Donald Trump in many of them. But what do we know about Harris? We can examine her record as a U.S. Senator or California Attorney General and Vice President. But what are her views on today’s pressing issues? The fact is, we don’t know. Harris has yet to sit down for an interview since taking over for Joe Biden. Clearly she has been busy, trying to put a campaign together in such a short time. But the American people deserve more than just clips from campaign rallies and scripted speeches. We need to see how she would respond to tough questions. The questions that need to be asked shouldn’t come from some friendly journalist pal. She should be subjected to a real news conference, with many journalists asking about her record, and her views on the economy, immigration and foreign relations. But with her campaign surging in such a short time, and democrats lining up in march step behind her, somehow she seems to be doing just fine without having to answer the tough questions.

Solem should call her and interview her.

“Oh hi there Miss Vice-President, or should I call you Kamala, it seems everyone does. Do you mind? I know you’re really super busy, is you husband with you today? Does he mind being called the First Gentleman? Our station is on the Minnesota-Wisconsin border so we are familiar with Governor Tim Walz and it’s nice for us that you picked him. He’s pretty popular. That ‘Tampon Tim’ nickname the extreme right-wingers gave him was really in bad taste, don’t you agree? If you’re elected will you be visiting the Canadian border too? I think Taylor Swift would be a good choice for the Inaugural Ball. Will that be held in Washington? I think it comes right after the swearing in, doesn’t it? We have a Congressman here who’s pretty controversial-Derrick Van Orden. I’m surprised he got elected. Have you heard of him? Probably not. If you decide to come to La Crosse, my very close friend William Garcia said he would emcee the program and most of the members of the La Crosse City Council and the La Crosse County Board said they would put a sign for you and Tim in their yard. Anyway, I’ve enjoyed this and please ignore all the insults from Trump. He’s such a dork. Bye, Kamala.

Maybe you could write about Trump’s interview on “X” with Elon Musk that had over 100 million views and shares worldwide.

Meanwhile, CNNs Dana Bash and uber-beta Jake Tapper described Doug Emhoff and Tampon Timmy as men “not testosterone-laden” whose purpose is to reach out to similar [males]. LOL.

We are living in an extraordinary time. How long has Joe been in decline? We understand now since 2021. The press knew and covered it up or did not know and failed at their job.
As for Kamala, she is all for abortion in the extreme. She has already stated an extreme position on business – raising the corporate rate to 28%. Would make us non- competitive, cost us GDP and jobs while raising prices.
She wants to cancel student debt that Joe wants but is not constitutional.
I could go and on about her progressive views.
She has no intention of sitting with anyone who might ask her tough questions. The Democratic Party is and has been lying to the public for years

What is good for Kamala would be good for Donald. However, no journalist in the US has been able to actually get Donald to answer a question. I don’t count when he talks after a question but never actually answers. If that is all you expect from Kamala you might as well save your complaining. I’ll yell for her interview after I hear Donald’s.

See web site “donaldjtrump.com” for the Republican platform in bullet point form. There is also a drill down link to a 16 page document with additional policy detail.

In contrast “kamalaharris.com” website is limited to soliciting donations and a photo of her laughing with no policy content whatsoever.

That is a real and chilling contrast.

I will agree with Martha Linville only to the extent that Donald Trump does speak in run-on sentences. The worst thing about that is it is annoying. Joe Biden could not speak in complete sentences and so far Kamala is not presenting or speaking about any policy at all with two exceptions: Donald Trump‘s no tax on tips message and stating that she will implement price controls on food and medication. Of course, those of us who think and are students of history and ecomics realize that price controls cause shortages because no producer is going to produce at a loss. Richard Nixon learned this lesson in the 70s. Venezuela, Argentina, Russia have learned these lessons too, the hard way. If kamala succeeded in implementing price controls, Americans for the first time will experience hunger with food shortages, breadlines, and loss of research and development for innovative, life-saving drugs. But you’ll never convince Martha Linville of that because she’s going to cheer team kamala no matter what. Yes Walden, quite a contrast, indeed.

I did not say anything about Donald Trump speaking in complete sentences. I said he does not answer questions that are asked of him. Really listen and see if he ever answers a question or if he only talks about what he wants to.

As Harris walked across the tarmac exiting Chicago yesterday, a reporter shouted “what are your next steps?”

Harris answered “I’m going up the stairs” (boarding the plane).

That actually happened. Harris is an idiot.

I do not know her IQ so I cannot agree with calling her an idiot. I do know brief glimpses of her ideology are considered progressive otherwise known as socialist. Her thoughts on implementing price control have been elevated to the level of communist even by liberal publications. This is very scary because there are a lot of people who failed to recognize this and are likely to vote for her, not on matters of importance, but because she’s black, a woman, a historical figure, etc. One can be a socialist and a communist and be very shrewd and intelligent. Hence, I hesitate to call her an idiot. I will say she is certainly not good for our country and way of life. Her silence on policy matters is, by some accounts, shrewd. Any dictator can schedule a vote. It happens in communist and other dictatorships frequently. Holding a vote actually legitimizes dictatorships. What used to separate our country from all others is that we had an informed electorate. In other words, politicians disclosed their policies, their ideology, and direction that they wanted to take the country so that the citizens could make an informed choice. Kamala did not get a single vote in a single primary showing that Democrats no longer believe in democracy. By failing to disclose policy matters, she seems to want the election handed to her. The people, perhaps Martha Linville are going to vote for her Without knowledge of her ideology or her plans for the country. And if she should win, will put us on a continuing path towards greater socialism, where nothing you own or work for is yours, and the government is entitled to take it from you to redistribute it as they wish.

You’re as deranged and delusional as Joe Biden
