Waiting line for this evening’s Donald Trump town hall in La Crosse started late Wednesday.

And a handful of Trump people were outside the La Crosse Center around 8 a.m. Thursday, with some coming from as far away as Wisconsin Dells to get a seat for the town hall.

At noon, lines at the gates outside the Center were not yet full.

The main arena at the La Crosse Center can hold up to 7,000 and that’s what staff were preparing for.

Trump is scheduled to begin at 6 p.m. Tulsi Gabbard is the town hall moderator .

Doors to the arena will open to the public at 2 p.m.

One other note, the 3:45 p.m. Moon Tunes concert was cancelled, due to Secret Service orders of the Viking cruise ship to leave early.
