La Crosse County and 3rd Congressional District Democratic Party chair William Garcia rehashes Donald Trump’s visit to La Crosse on this week’s Democratic Voice podcast.

La Crosse County Democratic Party chair William Garcia hosts the Democratic Voice podcast along with WIZM’s Rick Solem. New episodes come out every Monday. To find them, just search The Democratic Voice wherever you download podcasts or get all the episodes on WIZM here.

Garcia talks about the fact that, despite Trump being an hour and 15 minutes late, no Republican candidates in the area spoke to the 7,800 supporters in the crowd, who were left to their own devices.

Republicans in the area, also didn’t post that day on social media about Trump being at the La Crosse Center.

On the flip side, Garcia discusses Democratic counterprogramming, including Wisconsin Lt. Gov. Sara Rodriguez, Minnesota US Sen. Tina Smith and La Crosse Assembly Rep. Jill Billings all in town, discussing the economy, as well as Kamala Harris’ CNN interview.

The La Crosse Town Hall, where Trump took questions, was entirely different from Harris’ masquerade in Eau Claire a week earlier, where she only ventured to read a speech from the teleprompter (of course).

At the Harris event, there were girls twerking on stage while the audience awaited the arrival of Harris. Had I been there I would have got up and left at that point. How low are the Dems going to drag society down?

…just take it out of the $25 million of covid grift $ paid to the City and County.

It’s the largest event at the La Crosse Center since the City paid $50 million to give it a face lift. They should be ecstatic having the business.

Increasing parking fees for that night given all the events downtown was definitely a poor showing by the City.

It’s handy for Solem to get so many comments from Ivan Garcia since Garcia has his office right next to Solem’s at WIZM. If Garcia was concerned about the attendees at Trump’s rally at the La Crosse Center being entertained waiting for Trump, who is often held up by adoring fans, Garcia should have taken the stage and see what happened.

    1) Republican Rep VanOrden was at the town hall and gave several interviews.
    2) The standing room only crowd was wonderful and thoroughly enjoyed the event “left to our own devices.”
    3) Never before heard of Dem MN senator Tina Smith.
    4) Never before heard of Dem Sara Rodriguez.
    5) Solem’s crush Garcia is a blubbering jackass.

Did Solem ask Garcia about WI Governor Evers embarrassing show at the Dem National Convention and his followup fauxpas calling VP candidate Walz by the wrong name, several times? Looks like we have another Biden-like dementia patient as our governor.
