Trial beginning for 20-year-old, over threating children while driving past La Crosse elementary school

Three men were arrested in La Crosse last year for allegedly driving past an elementary school and yelling threats to children on the street out of their car window.

A trial, beginning Wednesday in La Crosse, for one of those suspects.

Hunter Gundlach is accused of making terroristic threats and disorderly conduct for allegedly shouting at children, while driving past Blessed Sacrament School.

The 20-year-old Gundlach and others, accused of harassing students, happened in March of 2023. The three were arrested after police pulled the vehicle over.

The trial is expected to last two days.
