Democrats look into GOP Project 2025 at town hall meeting in La Crosse
Wisconsin Democrats want voters to know what former President Donald Trump has planned for a second term, if he’s elected to the White House again.
On Saturday, Madison Congressman Mark Pocan joined La Crosse area candidates at a town hall where they spoke with local voters about the Project 2025, which they say reflects Trump’s policies. Democrats are conducting similar town halls in other parts of the state, with one in Wausau scheduled for Sunday.
Pocan says Republicans want to be sure every state follows the ideas within Project 2025. He criticizes ideas for changing health care, and benefits for Medicare and Social Security, as well as providing tax breaks for the wealthy.
The Congressman was joined at the Machinists Union hall on Rose Street by State Senator Brad Pfaff, Rep. Jill Billings, and Assembly candidate Tara Johnson. Saturday, October 5th, marks one month until the November election, which features races for the White House, Congress, and state offices.

What a trio of losers.
Trump has disavowed the Project 2025 document a billion times.
Shameful and sleazy that WIZM would publish this.

Brad, You’ll show up wherever the La Crosse Democrat wants you to.
A journalist would have added to his this that Trump has repeatedly, as in repeatedly, disassociated himself with Project 2025. He has said he does not endorse it and never has.
Mark Pocan is the Democrats’ “Drag Some Garbage Around The State” guy. You fell for it.
