Fravel

Adam Fravel goes on trial for the 2023 death of Madeline Kingsbury, his ex-girlfriend.

Kingsbury’s remains were discovered in June of last year in the Mabel, Minn., area about two months after she was reported missing.

Searches and vigils were conducted in Winona County in the weeks after Kingsbury disappeared.

Winona Judge Nancy Buytendorp held pre-trial hearings in September to determine what issues in the case can be brought up at trial, such as physical abuse and threats of violence.

More than 150 witnesses are expected to testify during Fravel’s trial at the Blue Earth County courthouse, which is predicted to run about three weeks.
