Mike Quam joined WIZM’s La Crosse Talk on Thursday, discussing an annual tradition for the Rotary Club of Downtown La Crosse.

More than 900 fruit baskets will be be distributed mid-December if you buy one from either a Rotarian or www.rotaryfruit.com.

La Crosse Talk airs weekdays at 6-8 a.m. Listen on the WIZM app, online here, or on 92.3 FM / 1410 AM / 106.7 FM (north of Onalaska). Find all the podcasts here or subscribe to La Crosse Talk PM wherever you get your podcasts.

Presale orders have already begun. A shipment of fruit and peanuts arrives two days prior to deliveries starting. Downtown Rotarians spend four hours assembling the fruit baskets. Then delivery begins December 14-16.

Quam says this sale helps pay for Rotary Lights and other projects the Rotarians support throughout the year.

Early bird discounts end December 6. Ask a Rotarian or go to www.RotarianFruit.com.
