The First Lady of the U.S. and the First Lady of Minnesota — both career educators — took the stage Monday at a pro-education election rally inside the La Crosse Center.

Dr. Jill Biden and Gwen Walz campaigned together, urging the audience to vote for the Democratic ticket, led by Vice President Kamala Harris and Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz.

Jill Biden described Harris as “the leader we need right now,” urging voters to support reproductive rights, with the possibility of restoring abortion rights, following the 2022 Supreme Court decision to reverse Roe vs. Wade.

Dr. Biden, though, also told the audience to imagine a future where the two major parties can pass bipartisan bills to help the country.

In the future, Democrats and Republicans can come together to get reasonable things done for the American people,” she said, as the crowd cheered.

Walz described Jill Biden as ‘America’s teacher,’ and said the country can turn the page to a new vision.

The two women were preceded on stage by La Crosse Mayor Mitch Reynolds, along with other educators, including Jesse Martinez, co-president of the La Crosse Education Association, who talked about educating children about politics.

“It’s more important that they understand what it means to be an active participant in democracy,” Martinez told WIZM. “Not who to vote for, not what they should be voting for, but how to participate in democracy. How do you register to vote. How do you go and actually cast your ballot.”

On her second campaign trip to La Crosse in as many months, Gwen Walz played upon her teaching experience to give the audience the “ultimate group project,” to elect the Democratic ticket, calling it a “pass/fail project.”

Gwen Walz also discussed reproductive freedom, saying women “do not take kindly to bullies telling us when, if or how to start our families.”

Jill Biden also emphasised voting, doing so early, and arguing that a higher turnout in 2016 could have led to the election of Hillary Clinton, rather than Donald Trump.

Dr. Biden said voters “can’t let that happen again.”

They talk about education, but hide the truth about what abortion is. Every time an abortion is performed, someone dies. If you’re for education, then you should be for science. True science tells us that a child in the womb is fully human and is fully alive. We search the cosmos for any sign of life even as tiny as a bacteria, but fail to recognize human life in the womb of a woman. There is nothing more evil or more selfish than denying a right to life. The Declaration of Independence proclaims, Life. liberty and the pursuit of happiness are unalienable rights. Life is listed first because it takes precedence over all other rights. Yes, be educated but and recognize and accept truth.

“Educators for abortion”. Anything wrong with that picture?

Why would the mayor of a small Midwest city take the stage of a Democrat rally to lie about Donald Trump’s non-association with Project 25? Trump has repeated disassociated himself with that publication and has recently said any individual tied to it could not be considered for a Trump administration cabinet post. The mayor knows all this, yet he stands before La Crosse attendees at the Jill Biden event and lies. The Mayor of La Crosse is a liar. On top of that, he’s incompetent.

Bob, these people have no skills other than as con men or women or whatever they claim to be. The Mayor, as incompetent as he is, as demonstrated by the homeless debacle and overseeing the ruination of downtown La Crosse, will expect the Dems and Teachers Union to back him in the next election cycle. There’s money and some additional votes at stake.

Gotta laugh at the photo of the teachers union president reading from the telepromptor. This whole affair was so scripted and performative even the stooges use a telepromptor.

These two women, as policy enabling educators, over the last 4 years, were part of the greatest decline in academic achievment in the history of public schools. Both pandered to Randi Weingarten to keep schools closed.

Anyone with a PhD in education who insists on being called “Dr.” as in Jill is unfit to serve. See La Crosse School Board for examples.

La Crosse Schools have or will receive almost $100 million in additional operating funds through referendums, state aid increases, covid, etc. If teachers are unhappy with their pay they should be looking at their ineffective union and the dismal leadership of the school board. Both groups have had their underpants pulled up over their eyes.
